John Curtis is senior vice president, general counsel of The Warranty Group, Inc., with oversight of all global legal matters.
Mr. Curtis is a former partner at Baker & McKenzie, and former president and CEO of First Extended Corporation. He served on The Warranty Group, Inc. board of directors since the company’s acquisition by Onex Corporation in November of 2006 as chairman of the governance committee. Prior to that, he spent over 25 years with various Dallas law firms practicing corporate securities law.
Mr. Curtis holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and a law degree from University of Texas in Austin and serves on several boards of directors.
