Mr. Markovits Senior Vice President General Counsel Mr. Markovits is Senior Vice President and General Counsel of The Warranty Group, Inc. He has oversight of all legal matters for TWG globally.

Mr. Markovits has over 35 years extensive experience in corporate legal matters, which includes insurance, extended warranty, consumer protection and regulatory issues. He started his career in the government relations department of a former affiliate of TWG. For many years he was responsible for all government relations matters in the U.S. for Aon Corporation as well managing the Law Department for Aon’s insurance underwriting and other consumer product companies. He also has extensive international experience with the company. Prior to his current position he was Chief Counsel for AWG/Virginia Surety.

Mr. Markovits has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Minnesota State University, Moorhead and a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of North Dakota School of Law. He is licensed to practice in Illinois.
